One of Me to We's biggest priorities is helping countries in need receive food, water, medical care and education.
They have a program called "Me to We Artisans". ME to WE Artisans is a line of original accessories handcrafted by artisans in WE Charity’s partner communities across the world. Each piece is a connection between you and a working artisan, sustainably produced using locally sourced materials. The money made from the accessories goes directly to the artisan who handcrafted it. This makes it so they can afford to buy simple everyday items for their family.
Today, more than 1,400 mamas are employed in poverty communities to create beautiful beaded accessories. They aren’t only earning an income, they are learning financial literacy and leadership training, they’re also building the skills and confidence to be role models, helping empower their own families and communities to break the cycle of poverty.
